I think I was still using the rubber banding technique, too.Natural Afrodisiachttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12143345568422578610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-143694198224597242.post-12463701736864879092013-01-14T18:34:49.450-05:002013-01-14T18:34:49.450-05:00I could've cried at this post. I'm having ...I could've cried at this post. I'm having a loc crisis of my own.

After 9 months of 'trying' to get locs diy style, I've booked myself in to see a professional. My plan is to get them retwisted by someone who can actually see the back of my head and not wash them for a month, maybe longer, then continue by myself. At first this seemed extreme but I'm hanging onto this journey by a hair and really need to see some progress. I was washing my hair very frequently but I think I've prolonged the loc'ing process by washing TOO often never giving my hair time to matt. I too used witch hazel in the beginning and look forward to trying it again now that I have a plan.

One thing I'd like to ask, after your 1st month how often would you actually shampoo your hair? I mean once a month should give my shed hairs enough time to matt together without being disturbed right? Also your bottle idea may have just saved me

THANK YOU!NaturaLocshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09742014794183523448noreply@blogger.com
